RNA: More Convenience Than Ever at Montreal Trudeau's Arrival! |
||
HDS RNA opened on March 31, 2006 the latest of its stores at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, bringing the total now to 12 locations in Canada's third largest airport. Operating under the name of “Mini-Marché”, the store covers 1300 square feet (121 m2) and is located in the international area of the Arrivals Level. Mini-Marché caters to a blend of airport staff, meeters and greeters as well as arriving passengers from the United States and from overseas. The concept was developed with the input of Aéroports de Montréal (the airport authority) and the store's merchandise assortment is, therefore, truly tailored to the specific needs of those customers. Freshly brewed A.L. Van Houtte coffee is combined with pastries and other baked goods delivered fresh daily. Meals-to-go as well as snacks and confectionary items are conveniently displayed for hungry customers. The store's offering also includes staples of grocery and convenience stores such as cereals, milk, preserves, etc. Last but not least, Mini-Marché has already applied for permit and will be adding soon a large selection of beer and wine that will no doubt become a hit with customers. All items are priced competitively and compare advantageously to pricing in convenience stores that operate in the vicinity of the airport. Whether it is for milk, beer or bread, Mini-Marché allows arriving passengers or workers at the airport to spare a trip to their local convenience store while generating incremental revenues that would otherwise go off-airport. |
